Once you’re down underground, battle the two Shy Guys playing catch with Toad #1. In the first underground room, Use the second lift to reach the platform on the right to find the sideways facing Toad #2. Once you’re in the second area, walk past the waterfall and pull the tape off Toad #4 who is stuck on the purple rock. Go just a bit south after grabbing Toad #3 and you’ll find Toad #4 being chased by a group of Shy Guys. Once you do get the Toad, the remaining Shy Guys will battle you all at once! Jump on the bridge at just the right moment to fling him over to safety. Hear that eerie music? Let’s pray for those last two Toads. Stand on the second bridge and use Cutout to bring the Shy Guy and Toad #5 out from behind the waterfall and onto the bridge. In the final area, use the lift and hop off to the right to find a disturbing scene involving a creepy Shy Guy, Toad #6, and a bendy straw.
Use Fire Flowers to burn the Shy Guy to a crisp. There are three Purple Toad Rescue Squad members, and you’ll need them all to get up a wall in Ruddy Road. All three Toads are found in different levels, so you’ll have to do some searching before getting this Mini Star!. Talk to Toad #1 to get him where you need to go! The captain is found in Ruddy Road if you took the upper path.Īll the way on the right in the final area. Once at the top of the mountain, drop down the south edge to find a small spot with a Toad #2. Flatten his creased foot with a hit of the hammer and he’ll be on his way. Your first entry in this level is to simply speak to the Toad #3 and recruit him to go help you in Ruddy Road. There are eleven Yellow Toad Rescue Squad members, and you’ll need them all to pull out the Turnip in the Sacred Forest. The Toads are scattered across different levels, including those you haven’t been to yet, but some come in groups. The captain is found at the very start of the Sacred Forest. This one is mandatory so you should have them already! In the same room that you get the Bone Thing. Stuck in a barrel near the steps to get on the colorless ocean. Stuck in a barrel on the dock to the right of the ship. Surrounded by a group of Shy Guys near the wheel of the ship. On the edge of the ship, closed off by a Shy Guy. Hit the mast of the ship to bring down the Toad and a group of Shy Guys. Standard attacks won’t work on him, so you’ll have to rely on Thing Cards to take him out!Įnter the level to find Toad #10 in the center of the giant colorless spot. Walk all the way to the right to find Toad #11 in a hot lava chamber. There are 23 Blue Toad Rescue Squad members, and you’ll need them all to get the train across the broken bridge in Kiwano Temple. The Toads are scattered across four different levels, but are mostly found in Fort Cobalt.
